About HFC Youth

 

“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (NIV)

Youth are being attacked from media sources, peers and culture. The world wants to deceive youth into thinking that the pleasures of this world are all one needs. To know what God wants for our lives, we need to renew our minds, not focused on the things of this world, but the things of God.

If we just have fun, but there is no difference in our lives than the lives of those of this world, then what’s the point?

We seek to have that balance between fun and sound biblical teaching, drawing people closer to a closer relationship with God.

We have several events and activities through out the year, as well as a regular meeting Sunday nights. The youth are an integral part of the body of Christ and they are given opportunities to serve in various roles in the life of the church.

Our prayer is that the youth will be “renewed” in Christ and go out as an example and a light to their friends, those in their schools, and wherever they may go.
